Description
The Electromagnetic Pentagonal Antenna (3.5mm mini-jack) is a mono, passive electromagnetic antenna that you can use to pick up sounds from the electromagnetic spectrum that are outside of the range of human hearing. It works without the need of phantom power with a standard pre-amplifier or use it with your KOMA Elektronik Field Kit or any other type of mixing console. It is highly sensitive and can be used to sniff out sounds from all the electronic devices that surround us. Moreover, you can use the Electromagnetic Pentagonal Antenna to register natural phenomena, like thunderstorms, solar storms and it will pick up hardly detectable natural radio signals from the VLF band.
The Electromagnetic Pentagonal Antenna (Jack) comes with a dyed black wooden antenna frame, wound 489 times with 0,15mm enamelled copper wire. The handle is made of recycled cork & dyed black birch plywood.
